The Tata Nano is designed with a simply aim of providing the Indian with a very economical, safe and affordable means of traveling. Customers are simply left waiting for nearly three years before they can actually get their hands on the new Nano. After a number of protests the plant was forced to shift from West Bengal to Gujarat further delaying the launch. Dealers are already flooded with booking and enquires and customers are simply kept waiting. Nano is a two cylinder engine, four speed gear box and a maximum speed of 65 mph the car is believed to be very safe when driving on Indian roads.

The car has no luxury features like air conditioning, power windows, or power steering making it the most economical car for Indian roads. Due to its very low cost and fuel efficiency, the peoples car is not expected to make much profits for its manufacturers. Nano is one of the most eagerly waited car for the last ten years. The car is also expected to get the Indian middle class families off their motorbikes and into a much safer car.

Nano is certainly an all weather form of transportation for a typical middle class family. It certainly is a value for your money with safety. Nano is also believed to be the least polluting car on the road so even after over crowding the Indian roads, it would simply not pollute the environment. The car in itself is a green revolution. Nano is simply about the basic transportation for Indian families. The car simply rolls on a 12 inch wheel with no inner tubes. The wind shields are provided with a single wiper making the drivers to use one side mirror. The shell is simply designed to be more rigid and the body panels are made up of steel imported from Japan and Korea. The exterior of the car is made up of high gloss material.

The streamlined cluster simply weighs much less as compared to many other cars in the West. Reduced weight simply makes the car to run smoothly on 2 cylinder engine which has simply been bolted at the rear side. The engine is light weight but has a capacity of powering the car to a speed of 100 km per hour in just 23 seconds. The car also has a great fuel efficiency traveling around 24 km per liter. Thus Nano can also be called as the Tata’s hybrid Sedan which has a much smaller version.

The car has four doors and seats for accommodating four adults and does not make it feel lightweight on the road. Nano simply handles turns and curves well as any other miniature car on the street. The car looks very much appealing to the eyes. The car at present also is marked as a status symbol amongst the Middle class Indian family.

Although Nano has only succeeded in capturing a fraction of the Indian market but is expected to grip the road by the coming centuries. It has a number of advantages to it that most of the small cars may not be having. It has a very light body, which is only light weight, but quiet strong as compared to any other small car on the street. The price is also comparable very much competitive. Apart from all the advantages it has the mark of Tata Automobiles. It is simply a product of a trusted Indian company.
