Do you think Tata Nano is god and that no copycat can stand a chance? Let me remember you IBM and Friendster. Also the fact that there will be only 100k Tata Nanos for sale in the first lot will make the people who didn’t won the right to buy a Nano at lottery to look for alternatives.

Why is so super about Oreva?

It is powered by electricity, is small and probably will have a price similar to Nano.
The car is made by the Ajanta Group, a Saurashtra-based clockmaker, who is planning to give serious competition to the Tata Nano. Although the project was in the pipeline for a while, sources say production at Oreva plant in Kutch recently moved into top gear.
