Scoop: Tata Nano V2 caught testing

Tata Motors limited which is one of the world’s leading car companies though its having a hard time finding enough buyers for its Nano small car. The company hasn’t given up hope though and is at it to make the Nano appeal to prospective buyers. Towards this, the company seems to have got into developing the second generation of the Nano based upon the surveys, customer feedbacks and continuous assessments. Success or failure of Tata Nano is yet to be declared though before the final statement is made, Tata has made a new image of Nano keeping the customers demands in mind. Here it comes.
With the help of an alert team, spyshots of the Nano were taken while being on both test and standard number plates at some part of Pune. These shots feature a few changes that can help produce a modified version of the existing one – v2 version of the Nano. One of the major complains that has been lodged by the owners is the absence of the right hand side wing mirrors, even as an extra option. One of the spyshots features a right wing mirror, thereby addressing one of the major problems of the owners. Secondly another fault that can be pointed out is the lack of a proper engine cover that hides the rear mounted engine of the nano. Consequently Tata Nano’s exposed rear engine and the gruff note it emanates makes it a twin clone of an auto rickshaw. This does matter in a country like India where people are highly image and status conscious. These can eventually make consumers to refrain from purchasing such a car. Good thing as Tata motors must have started working on the rear engine cover finally.
It is also seen that the rear bumper appears to be having stats which functions to allow heat to dissipate out from the engine. Its possibility of it being a test car is also very less as compared to the other cars. Tata motors as of now is not revealing any thing about it’s launching of V2 version of the nano yet. Till then we should wait eagerly for any such announcement from their part.
Worth mentioning here that its the same V2 branding that has brought it better luck with its Indica small car. Initial version had suffered from some teething problems, which the company had rectified in a V2 version and the rest is History.
