Tata Nano CNG, Nano equipped with disc brake debuts at Delhi Auto Expo
Tata is going to come up with a Nano that runs on CNG as this was showcased at the Delhi Auto show 2012 event. This would be an environment friendly car along with being the cheapest car in the market. There is however bad news as far as car lovers in India are concerned. The diesel variant of the Nano, which has been a much awaited car, would be further delayed, as confirmed by the company Vice chairman, Ravi Kant.
Ratan Tata also accepted that there have been some problems that the company is facing as regards the Nano with issues being with its starter motor as well as its fire safety. He however assured the people that the company was not making any concession for safety factor in order to keep the cost of the car low.
With the CNG variant the car, its ownership cost will be even more economical for the people. There was also a Nano with front disc brakes that had been put up on show at the Delhi Auto Expo.
